About the role
The Communications Team leads the strategic thinking around communications at all levels of the organisation. A multi-discipline team, it sets and delivers the organisation’s vision for digital engagement, video, communications strategy, design, brand, and editorial. Focused on audience-centred experiences, it is responsible for delivering against the organisation’s strategic goals and for providing the communications expertise to support changing attitudes to human rights, building a powerful movement, winning human rights victories and driving income generation.
The Social Media Specialist is responsible for delivering AIUK’s social media strategy. This role tells powerful stories, optimised for social platforms, that resonate with audiences, connect emotionally, shift attitudes and inspire action.
This role typically needs to spend 2 days per week in the office or on location to fulfil the responsibilities of the role. This can include travel around the country. More details can be found by downloading the job description from our careers portal.
