Frequently Asked Questions
What if my degree is not in finance?
Apply anyway. They did not specify a degree discipline. They care about grades, analytical ability, and progress toward professional qualifications.
What if I have not started CFA or CIFA?
You need to be a registered student actively pursuing one of these qualifications. If you are not registered yet, you cannot honestly say you are. Look for other opportunities and register for CFA or CIFA before the next internship cycle.
Can I apply if I am still in university?
Probably not. They require a bachelor’s degree. If you are in your final semester and will graduate soon, you can try. But be honest about your status.
What if my KCSE grade is below B+?
The requirement says minimum B+. If you are below that, your application may be rejected automatically. Apply anyway if you have strong other qualifications. But manage your expectations.
Is this role only for Kenyan citizens?
The posting does not specify. Cytonn is a Kenyan company. Most of their roles require work authorization in Kenya. Check the application portal for details.
